Welcome to the website of Bríd Fitzpatrick

Bríd Fitzpatrick was born on the West Coast of Ireland. Later she moved to London and toured as an actress. Bríd read English at Birkbeck College, University of London followed by an MA in TV Drama at Goldsmiths’ College. Bríd wrote, produced and directed her first film Waves Without Sound to critical acclaim. This innovative and highly artistic film is represented by the British Film Council and has been screened at worldwide film festivals winning the audience votes at film festivals. Bríd has written and directed a music video for new recording artist Claudia Markovic. Followed by a new project for the band A Mountain of One latest single Lie Awake. Their new album Institute of Joy has been voted best psychedelic ablum of the year. The Sunday Times have compared their sound to Pink Floyd and Talk Talk. Bríd is also getting ready to shoot a new film to accompany the award winning classical piece of music Nilay's Dream. Bríd has written two feature film treatments and is in negotiations with producers. The book on Native American Spirituality Great Grandfather Spirit was co-written by Bríd Fitzpatrick and is published by HarperCollins.  This book has been translated into French and Italian.

Current & Future Projects

Bríd has written and will direct a music video for the band Mountain of One whose new ablum Institute of Joy has been voted number 1 psychedelic album of the year. The Sunday Times has heralded the band as the new Pink Floyd and compared them to Talk Talk. Bríd has written and will direct Nilay's Dream an award winning classical piece of music set to a beautifully scripted short film. Bríd has written an animation that is in negotiations with major TV companies.  Bríd has written two feature film treatments that are currently in negotiation with producers.
